

The default is to “snip” a rectangle around what you want to copy. (Once the “new” has been selected, you will only be able to “snip” from what you see on the screen you will not be able to change windows unless you close the new snip.) Everything on your screen will kind of fade and a crosshair icon should appear. When you find either of these, click to open.ģ Using “Snipping Tool” Click “New” on the top left of the menu bar, but make sure what you want to copy is already pulled up and ready to be copied.

If this does not bring up the “Snipping Tool” app, try to search for “Snip & Sketch”. At the taskbar on the bottom left of the screen, you should see a magnifying glass and a search box…type “snipping tool” into the search box and press Enter.
